Nine months into the color project and we have reached Sapphire. Dark blue was such a fun color to find. The first image is of a VW bug parked in the Freemason section of Norfolk. I've always loved those cars, and the blue made it pop. Blueberries have to be featured. These gorgeous gems are as delicious as they are beautiful. The kitchen I photographed for a St Jude Dream Home, the deep blue cabinets were stunning. The logo on the Virginia Marine Science Museum in Virginia Beach. A blue door frame in Norfolk. The fall weather leads to the sky not being as hazy, and we get deep blues on the low humidity days. A bell tower, the sky made me feature this image; it reminds me of the images you see in Greece. Finally, an Empress 1908 Gin martini.
This is part of a year-long project to refresh my creativity and train my eye a little more on seeing colors. Throughout 2021 I will post images at the end of each month that will relate to that month's birthstone/color. Some of the photographs will be of my regular work, architecture, drone, or food, but hopefully, some will come from new content I see throughout the month. Training myself to slow down and see the area around me differently.
Comment below and let me know what you think of my interpretations this month.

Laura - Love the sky photo. I mean, of course. Funny how it’s “just” background for the rest of us.
