November is Topaz or, as I interpret it, deep yellow/brown. One of my friends describes Thanksgiving food as all brown, and after seeing how much food I used this month, I think she may be right.
The first image is the gorgeous fall leaves; in Norfolk, due to our more temperate climate, we are fortunate that our fall comes a bit later in November. Next is the sign of Stewart Cellars. A French apple tart, both elegant and delicious. A little Blanton's, is it wrong that this might have been my favorite to have after I took the photo? Image of a large crane that is part of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel expansion, the color of the crane is vibrant against a fall sky. In sixth, I have coconut macaroons, and finally the "Do I dare eat a peach" from the Inn at Little Washington.
Let me know what you think of this month's interpretation in the comments below.
This is part of a year-long project to refresh my creativity and train my eye a little more on seeing colors. Throughout 2021 I will post images at the end of each month that will have some relationship to that month's birthstone/color. Some of the photographs will be of my regular work, architecture, drone, or food, but hopefully, some will come from new content I see throughout the month. Training myself to slow down and see the area around me differently.
