February is Amethyst or better described as purple. Purple is my favorite color. This month I am featuring The Empress 1908 Gin, an outstanding gin, and the color is magnificent. Siberian Irises I bought at the Fresh Market. A weight clamp, and I know I bought it because of its color. While walking through a garden center, I spied some purple seedling pots. A doorway to a tattoo shop in the Neon District of Norfolk. A home in Cape Charles Virginia, they have many colorful homes. My dog's favorite treats come in a purple bag. A water bottle and finally, purple potatoes. Comment below and let me know what you think.
This is part of a year-long project to refresh my creativity and train my eye a little more on seeing colors. Throughout 2021 I will post images at the end of each month that will have some relationship to that month's birthstone/color. Some of the photographs will be of my regular work, but hopefully, most will come from new content I see throughout the month. Training myself to slow down and see the area around me differently.
