For a long time, I tried to travel with just my point and shoot camera. I didn't want to lug around the DSLR around with lenses, but I was never satisfied with the results, so I got a backpack to carry them around. Now I have added a drone too. Here in Norfolk with the Navy so close, it's not always okay to fly, so I jump at the opportunity to do it now. This past weekend was my birthday, and I usually love to travel for my birthday, but because of the COVID, it was not possible. So I took a road trip up to the mountains of Virginia and found a cute Inn on a hill called The Inn at Mount Vernon Farm. It's been a long time since I captured images with the intention for them to be black and white, but the farm's fences and grass were too good to pass up. And then put up the drone for some vistas and aerials of the farm and Inn.
I love to use the drone to capture an architectural perspective of a building you couldn't do without it. Let me know what you think of the Inn and grounds in the comments.
