I was recently hired by Chesapeake Regional Medical Center not to capture medical photography but instead images of Chesapeake itself to hang on the walls in the hospital. They picked several iconic landmarks, and one was relatively new and built-in 2018. The Dollar Tree headquarters changed the landscape of the Greenbrier section of the city. It's now the tallest building, and Chesapeake now joins Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Portsmouth having a high rise tower. Using both the drone and my regular camera to capture the exteriors, it's architecture with the front being a typical tower and the back having a park and also distribution center. It changed the landscape of the area, and I think an excellent choice for the hospital to choose as an icon of the city.
